This year I am planning on a July/August hatching period.

Hopefully that will put me on schedule for the October Manchester Reptile Show. As long as I have 35+ offspring remaining I will purchase a table.

This year I will be listing offspring at 10% off unsexed. This sale price will start once the hatchlings have hatched and morphs are posted as I usually don’t sex them until after they have had 3+ meals.

Winter Devastation

Unfortunately Massachusetts where I live was devastated by a major winter ice storm. The storm destroyed many power lines, trees, homes, and property. Hundreds of thousands of homes were left without power for up to three weeks. My county was left powerless for 12 days, during which point I was thankfully able to share a generator with my neighbors. The generator was running the refrigerator, one lamp, three heaters for the house, and one heater for the room I housed all of our pets and my snake colony.

I was unable to save all of my animals however due to the time lag it took to get the generator and heaters operational.  During that period I lost 1Green Tree Python, 4 Gargoyle Geckos, and 11 Corn Snakes, 7 of which were brumating adults. It would have been unwise to transport so many animals in the freezing cold upwards of 50+ miles outside the devastation zone, though I had many generous offers from friends, family, and colleagues wishing to help.

I apologize to any individuals whom have either donated animals or sold them to me in the past that may feel disheartened by this news. I know that this is the worst possible outcome to hear about happening to the animals you have spent time, energy, and care into raising.

I would also like to thank all those that have helped me to save my animals as well as generously offer to replace the ones I have lost! I appreciate everything you have done, or offered to do.

Adult Corns are laying now. Updates will be made when all clutches are on the ground.
